Services we Offer

Live in Care

Receiving 24 hour care at home is a popular alternative to care homes for individuals with long-term health needs.Given the choice, many of us would choose to remain within our homes whilst receiving support. However when faced with the responsibility of choosing the type of care we would like our loved ones to receive, we tend to automatically assume care homes are the best or only option.

However, this is not always the case. Receiving care at home makes it possible to get the professional support you require without leaving the comfort of your own home.

We know that independence, choice and dignity are important for both happiness and health. Our care services enable you to continue to live your life the way you wish to in the comfort of your own home and familiar surroundings. Our team of professional carers are trained to provide you with the highest quality of compassionate care.

Elderly care

Elderly care in the home is a simpler, more compassionate approach to care.

At Laurels Care, we provide a professional caregiver who offers your loved one the physical, medical and behavioural support they need – all the while staying with them, in the place they call home.Whether your loved one needs a lot of support or just a little looking after, we offer flexible, cost-effective, 24-hour elderly care tailored especially to them
.

Palliative care

Palliative care at home allows you to stay in the place you feel most comfortable, surrounded by memories and the people you love. With the one-to-one support of a compassionate carer, who is experienced in palliative care, you can have specialist support whenever it is needed.

Whether you are looking for a full-time live-in carer, or a visiting carer for those times when you need some extra help, we provide the full range of care services for palliative care. For personal care, support with pain management, administering medication, cooking meals or sharing memories over a cup of tea, our supportive care covers whatever you need.

Respite Care

Respite care is there to provide your main carer with a break while still ensuring your care needs are met. The types of respite care available will ensure that those receiving care during a carers breaks and respite care period will have their requirements met by our expert carers and management team.

Respite care can either be provided through:

Live-in care – where the carer lives in your house, offering support and company day and night

Visiting care – if you need some extra support for a just a few hours each day or each week

You might also need to arrange short-term care if you have to attend a family emergency or other commitments. Respite care ensures that the person you are supporting always has someone there to help them if ever you’re not around. With our expert carers assessments in place, we are able to provide the highest quality respite care breaks to your friends and family.

Dementia and Alzheimer’s care

If you are struggling to care for a loved one with dementia it is important to remember you are not alone.Laurels care can provide one-on-one home care for loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease and other related cognitive challenges. Our carers are well equipped to deal with low- to mid-level dementia needs, as well as manage the symptoms that come with the condition. Dementia isn’t something you should feel you have to manage on your own, and we’re here to help.More pronounced needs may, however, require a specialist environment, such as a nursing home.
